As you reach Cochin, our Trip representative will assist you safely to the pre-booked hotel for check-in. Later on, you can go to the harbourside for a cruise and return to the hotel for dinner and night stay.

Post breakfast on day 2, you can opt for visiting the Fish and Spice markets. The afternoon can be dedicated to gorging on the local food and cooking lessons to demonstrate the Indian seafood variety. Get back to the hotel for night stay.

On day 3, after breakfast, you will be driven to Periyar, which is shaded by Cardamom hills with peaceful winding roads, rubber estates, spice plantations, and tea gardens. Once you reach Periyar, you will check into the hotel pre-booked for you. Rest for some time and then you can opt for a ‘boat safari’ on the Periyar Lake situated inside the National Park. Here again, you will be displayed demonstrations of spicy recipes. Return to the hotel in Periyar for dinner and night stay.

Post breakfast on day 4, you can take a tour on foot of the spice gardens situated close by with the assistance of the hotel staff who will introduce you to the various spices. You will learn about the places these spices actually grow. Take the opportunity to learn some of the easy and simple recipes of the state. Spend the night at the Periyar hotel.

On day 5, post breakfast, you will be taken by road to Kumarakom, which lies on the Lake Vembanad banks. Once you reach here, you will check into the hotel pre-booked for you. After some rest, you will receive a demonstration on ‘Conquering the Coconut,’ showing you how the coconut is plucked, de-husked, broken, grated, and then used for cooking. Enjoy a cruise watching the sunset on a ‘rice boat.’ Spend the night at the hotel here.
