Once you arrive at Chennai airport, our tour representative will assist you immediately to your allotted hotel where you will be spending your night.

After having your breakfast, you will be taken on a full-day excursion of the city of Chennai. The tour starts with a holy and spiritual visit to Kanchipuram temples. Kanchipuram is considered to be the ‘Varanasi of the South’ as it is dotted with innumerable temples. You can also shop for the famous Kanchipuram silk sarees. After this, you will return to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay.

Post breakfast, you will be driven to the beautiful city of Mahabalipuram, located about 1 hour and 35 minutes away. Upon arrival, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour to the Shore Temples – an 8th-century UNESCO World Heritage site. These temples, constructed with large blocks of granite, offer a panoramic and breathtaking view of the Bay of Bengal. During the evening, you are free to explore the city on your own or relax by the beach. You will be checked into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Mahabalipuram is known for its exotic and pristine beaches, as well as its wonderful temples and architectural wonders. For the entire day, you can explore and relax on the beautiful beaches. The beaches here are well-maintained and exude positivity. You can go beach hopping to popular beaches like Wide Beach and Mahabalipuram Beach. After a relaxing day, you will be taken back to your hotel in Mahabalipuram for an overnight stay.

Post breakfast, you will be driven to Thanjavur, located about 5 hours away. Thanjavur is known for being one of the sacred temple towns in Southern India. Here, you will visit several religious sites of interest, including the Brihadeshwara Mandir – dedicated to Lord Shiva and also a UNESCO World Heritage site, Thanjavur Maratha Palace, and Saraswathi Mahal Library and Art Gallery. Upon arrival in Thanjavur, you will be checked into your hotel for an overnight stay.
