Ayodhya, located on the banks of river Sarayu in Uttar Pradesh, is one of the seven sacred cities for Hindus. Ayodhya plays a critical role in the Hindu epic of Ramayana as it is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama. This religious town is also the birthplace of four of Jainism's 24 Tirthankaras (religious teachers), beckoning tourists with its serene ghats.
After breakfast, we will proceed for the Ayodhya Sightseeing which includes:-
Ramjanma Bhoomi: Ramjanma Bhoomi is believed to have been the birthplace of the Hindu deity, Lord Ram. According to the Indian epic Ramayana, Ram, Lord Vishnu's seventh manifestation, is said to have grown up along Ayodhya's river Sarayu. It is a highly revered site for Hindu devotees. • Hanuman Garhi: Located in Sai Nagar, Hanuman Garhi is a 10th-century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Hanuman. It is one of the most important temples in Ayodhya, as it is customary to visit Hanuman Garhi before visiting the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. It is believed that Lord Hanuman lived at the temple site, guarding Ayodhya. • Kanak Bhawan: The Kanak Bhawan is established towards the north-eastern corner of the Ram Janmabhoomi in Tulsi Nagar. Constructed in 1891, this temple is also known as Sone-ka-Ghar. It is a holy site dedicated to the Hindu deity Lord Rama and his wife, Goddess Sita. • Sita Ki Rasoi: Sita Ki Rasoi is believed to be an ancient kitchen used by the goddess Sita herself. Built quite close to the Ram Janmabhoomi, this sacred site is now a temple housing some exhibit vessels.
After breakfast, we’ll check out from the hotel and drive to Prayagraj. It will take around 4.5 hrs to reach Prayagraj.
The city of Prayagraj is among the largest cities of Uttar Pradesh and is situated at the confluence of three rivers- Ganga, Yamuna and the invisible Saraswati. The meeting point is known as Triveni and is especially sacred to Hindus. On arrival check in the hotel. Later visit Chandra Shekhar Azad Park (Company Garden), Anand Bhavan
After breakfast, we will proceed to take the holy bath in river Ganga and in Triveni Sangam (Meetings point of the 3 Rivers- Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati), perform puja and ritual ablutions in the holy waters proceed by Hanuman Temple. Later transfer to Varanasi
Varanasi is one of the oldest cities in the world. It is situated on the bank of the river Ganga spreading over a 1535 sq. km area in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is located between the confluences of river Ganga and Varuna and river Ganga and Assi rivulet. In the evening proceed to the Aarti Ceremony.
On arrival in Varanasi, we will check in at the hotel. After breakfast, we will start a city tour of Varanasi including BHU University & Sarnath. In the evening, we will enjoy the Ganga Aarti on one of the best Ghats.
Early morning, get ready to enjoy the boat ride on the Holy River Ganga. Later, we will go back to the hotel & have breakfast. In the afternoon, we will start driving to the airport to take a flight to Delhi. Finally, we will proceed to take an international flight.
